Biography

Mohammed Yassin
Mohammed Othman Aba Sha’ar
is currently a full-time lecturer in the English program at the School of
Education and Liberal Arts, Walailak University. He obtained a Ph.D. in
English Literature, with a particular focus on drama, from Aligarh Muslim
University - India in 2020. From 2019 to 2024, he worked as a lecturer at
Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University (NSTRU), where he taught both
undergraduate and graduate courses. His research interests include
translanguaging, English Medium Instruction (EMI), World Englishes, and
educational technology. He has published numerous articles on community
literature and English language teaching in the Thai English as a Foreign
Language (EFL) context in reputable journals. In recognition of his
significant academic contributions, he has received various awards and was
granted the title of Assistant Professor by Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat
